Bushra Bibi reaches Attock Jail to meet her Husband Imran Khan

The wife of the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi reached Attock Jail along with lawyers.

According to the media reports, PTI Chairman’s wife Bushra Bibi reached Attock Jail with a convoy of 4 vehicles, the vehicles were stopped at the police gate for half an hour. The Jail administration allowed Bushra Bibi to meet Chairman PTI Imran Khan.

The lawyers of the legal team of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Sher Afzal, Naeem Haider Panjotha, and Ali Ijaz could not get permission.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s Lawyer Naeem Haider Panjotha said that Islamabad High Court has given permission for the meeting.

It is pertinent to mention here that on August 5, Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar sentenced Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan to 3 years in prison and a fine of one lakh rupees in the Toshakhana case. After being sentenced by the court, the police arrested the former prime minister from his residence in Lahore and transferred him to Attock Jail.

The PTI Legal team has challenged the decision of Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar in the Islamabad High Court. However, the case has not been started in the IHC till now.
