Construction of 10 new Panahgahs in Lahore approved by CM Buzdar

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar has approved ten new Panahgahs (shelter homes) in Lahore.

According to media reports, the Chief Minister was chairing a meeting to review the measures to further improve facilities for helpless class in Panagahs in Lahore on Wednesday.

Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the concerned authorities to finalize locations for them soon. He said that the Panahgahs will be made in rented buildings and will be constructed in other big cities phase-wise.

Punjab’s CM said that the rehabilitation centers will be formed for drug addicts. He said that the former governments did nothing for the poor.

Starting Langar Khanas outside Panahgahs have also been decided by the Chief Minister. He vowed to further improve the system.

The Chief Minister of Punjab also directed to place traffic sign boards identifying Panahgahs.
