Hurmat-e-Parcham Campaign has been launched by the Federal Cabinet members in reaction to the attack of provoked protesters on the Pakistani Consulate in Germany and the removal of the national flag.

According to the media reports, the Federal Ministers released their pictures along with the Pakistani flag on social media under the campaign today (Thursday, July 25). They also wrote messages of love and affection for the national flag on social media platforms.

Among those who posted images of themselves with the national flag on social media were Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister of Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister of Law Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam, Minister for Power Sardar Awais Leghari, Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and other Federal Ministers.

With the couplet “Chand Roshan Chamakta Sitara Rahey, Sab Sy Ooncha Ye Jhanda Hamara Rahey,” the Minister of Information and Broadcasting shared a unique photo of himself waving the national flag on social media, stating that it is a direct message to Pakistan’s adversaries. To join the “Hurmat-e-Parcham Campaign,” Attaullah Tarar called for political activists, journalists, intellectuals, educators, attorneys, students, businesspeople, physicians, farmers, laborers, and young Pakistanis residing overseas. According to him, the Pakistani flag symbolizes the country’s cohesion and togetherness as well as its identity and sovereignty.

‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and the national flag were held by Minister of Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik, Minister of State for Finance Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, who also published their photos.
