Govt trying to bring foreign investment to Pakistan

Aneeq Ahmed – the Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs – has said that the government is trying to bring foreign investment into Pakistan.

According to the media reports, the Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed made these remarks while addressing a business forum in Karachi today (Monday, November 20). He said that the business community is the backbone of the country’s economy and multinational companies pay more tax in the country.

The Minister further stated that apart from bringing foreign investment into Pakistan, the government is trying to further reduce Hajj fares to facilitate people. He said about ninety thousand intending pilgrims will be given mobile SIMs with free-of-cost internet packages.

“The government would provide female pilgrims with Abbaya having a Pakistani flag on the backside of their heads to make identity easy,” he added.
