How many voters will cast a vote in Elections 2024?

The Election Commission of Pakistan has said that over one hundred and twenty million eligible voters are all set to cast a vote for the National Assembly and four Provincial Assemblies on the 8th of next month.

According to the media reports, the political parties around the country are holding public gatherings to win the support of voters. Additionally, candidates are participating in corner meetings to engage with the voters.

5,121 contenders are vying for seats in the National Assembly. Among them are 2 transgender candidates, 312 female, and 4,807 male candidates. 12,695 candidates are running for the four provincial assemblies, comprising 12,123 men, 570 women, and 2 transgender people.

Two hundred sixty-six general seats in the National Assembly and five hundred and ninety-three general seats in four provincial assemblies will be up for election.
