Murtaza Solangi takes charge of his office as Caretaker Information Minister

Murtaza Solangi – A Senior Pakistani Journalist – took charge of his office as the Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting today (Thursday, August 18).

According to the media reports, Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi took charge of his office in Islamabad. He visited the Ministry after taking oath at Aiwan-e-Sadar and met the officials and staff of his office.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Caretaker Cabinet of the Federal Government of Pakistan took oath in Islamabad today. President Dr. Arif Alvi administered the oath of the sixteen-member caretaker cabinet of the Federal Government of Pakistan in Islamabad. The Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Awaar-ul-Haq Kakar was also present on the occasion among others.

The Federal Ministers, who took the oath, include Solangi, Dr. Umar Saif, Sarfraz Bugti, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Gohar Ejaz, Jalil Abbas Jilani, Jamal Shah, Dr. Nadeem Jan, Aneeq Ahmed, Muhammad Sami, Ahmed Irfan, and Anwar Ali Haider.

It is to be noted here that the senior journalist Solangi took oath as the caretaker Information Minister of Pakistan, Dr. Umar Saif took oath as the caretaker IT and Telecom Minister, former State Bank Governor Shamshad Akhtar took oath as caretaker Finance Minister, Gohar Ejaz took oath as the caretaker Industry and Trade Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani took oath as the caretaker Foreign Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti took oath as caretaker Interior Minister and Aneeq Ahmed took oath as the caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs of Pakistan.

The caretaker Cabinet of Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar will perform their duties till the upcoming elections.
