NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik resigns from his post

The Chairman of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Tariq Malik resigned from his post.

According to the media reports, NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik submitted his resignation in a meeting with Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today (Tuesday, June 13).

The media reports said that NADRA Chairman is keen to work in the private sector. He had sought an appointment with Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in which Tariq Malik was to request for his resignation to be accepted.

On the other hand, it has also been reported that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has imposed a temporary ban on Tariq Malik’s travel abroad. NAB and FIA are conducting investigations against Chairman NADRA.
