The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government fully believes in transparency in elections; therefore it has been emphasizing on open ballot in the Senate elections.
This has been stated by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz while talking to the media in Parliament House on Friday.
Senator Shibli Faraz has said that the opposition parties are supporting secret ballot in the elections because they have the agenda of corruption. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is committed to eliminate corruption from the country.
The Information Minister has said that the opposition’s drama of camera in the polling both in the Senate has been exposed.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, he said that the opposition’s sinister plan of cameras in polling booth has been exposed. He said the opposition used criminal tactics in the Senate elections in the National Assembly where they converted majority into minority.
“That is why PDM opposed open ballot. The era of loot and plunder is taking last breath,” he added.
