Pakistan and Egypt have agreed to work together to advance mutually beneficial cooperation and dialogue between the two countries.

According to the media reports, the agreement came at a meeting between Additional Foreign Secretary Middle East Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia Ahmed Shaheen in Egypt today (Friday, January 12).
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to broaden bilateral relations in the areas of politics, trade, and investment. They also discussed convening the next round of Joint Ministerial Commission Meetings and Annual Bilateral Consultations later this year in Islamabad.
