Cyclone Biparjoy Updates: The National Disaster Management Authority said that the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm BIPARJOY over the Northeast Arabian Sea has moved North-northeastward during the last 06 hours.

According to the media reports, the National Disaster Management Authority has revealed the latest updates on Cyclone Biparjoy. The NDMA said that the Cyclonic Storm BIPARJOY over the Northeast Arabian Sea now lies at a distance of about 247 kilometers south of Karachi, 265 KM South of Thatta, and 176 KM South-southwest of Keti Bandar.

The NDMA further stated that the maximum sustained surface winds are 111 Kilometers per hour with gusts of 139 Kilometers per hour around the system with a maximum wave height of 30 feet.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority, Cyclone BIPARJOY is likely to keep tracking northeastward and will landfall between Keti Bandar and the Indian Gujarat coast this evening as a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm with packing winds of 111 Kilometers per hour with gusting 139 kilometers per hour.

The National Disaster Management Authority is continuously monitoring the system and will issue update accordingly. However, the government has taken all the steps to deal with any unwanted situation in Karachi and its surroundings. The people have been shifted to a safe place.
