Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that Pakistan welcomes the recent ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and demands an unconditional ceasefire in Palestine.

According to the details, Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch made these remarks during the weekly briefing in Islamabad today (Friday, November 29). She said that Pakistan welcomes the recent ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.

The Foreign Office spokesperson further stated that the international community should hold Israel accountable for its aggression and genocide. She said that Pakistan reiterates its unwavering support for the Palestinians, and condemns the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Palestine. She said that Pakistan demands a ceasefire in Palestine.

“Human rights violations by India continue in Occupied Kashmir. Pakistan will continue to provide political, moral, and diplomatic support to Kashmiris,” Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to pursuing good relations with all countries. She said that Pakistan does not believe in zero-sum relationships. The expansion of our relations with one country should not be considered as coming at the expense of our relationship with any other country.

Responding to a question, the spokesperson reiterated that there is no conversation between Pakistan and the TTP. She noted that Pakistan has repeatedly maintained that attempts to begin discussions with the TTP are an insult to the relatives of thousands of terrorism victims.
