PM Imran Khan lauds FBR for historic tax collection of Pakistan of Rs 4.7 trillion

The Prime Minister Imran Khan has commended Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for historic tax collection in the history of Pakistan.

In a tweet on Friday, the Prime Minister has appreciated the FBR for achieving historic level of tax revenues of four thousand seven hundred thirty two billion (4.7 trillion) rupees during fiscal year 2020-21.

Imran Khan further stated that this is eighteen percent higher than last year and exceeded target of four thousand sic hundred ninty one billion rupees.

“This performance is testimony to the strong economic revival spurred by our government’s policies,” the Premier added.
