Shehryar Afridi health condition worsened in Islamabad High Court

The health condition of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Leader and former Federal Minister Shehryar Afridi worsened in Islamabad High Court today (Wednesday, August 16).

According to the media reports, PTI Leader Shehryar Afridi appeared in Islamabad High Court today but staggered due to weakness and poor health and after biometric verification, he was taken to the police control room with support. A doctor was also called to check up on Shehryar Afridi and he was given emergency medical aid.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Leader Shehryar Afridi also filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court to stop National Accountability Bureau, Federal Investigation Agency, and other agencies from arresting him. NAB, FIA, and IG Islamabad have been made parties to the petition.

The petition has taken the stand to provide details of any ongoing inquiry against Shehryar Afridi, who has been detained in various fake cases. The petition also states that access to justice is a fundamental right of Shehryar Afridi and he has the right to know the allegations against him.

On the other hand, Bushra Bibi met her husband and Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan in Attock Jail yesterday (Tuesday, August 15). The meeting of Bushra Bibi with Chairman PTI and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in Attock Jail lasted for two hours. She left for Islamabad from Attock after the meeting to reach the DIG office along with the legal team.
