The Federal Minister for Interior, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has lauded the Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts for maintaining law and order situation in the region.
According to media reports, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has visited the Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts Headquarters in Gilgit on Friday.
On the occasion, the Interior Minister has said that the force is showing extraordinary valour at Siachen. He said Gilgit-Baltistan is playing an important role in development of the country and it is being included in national mainstream.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the water and energy problems of Pakistan will end with the completion of Diamer-Bhasha dam.
