In Swedish history, Stefan Lofven has become the first Prime Minister to lose a vote of no confidence, which was linked to the pressing topic of housing policy.

It is to be mentioned here that Lofven became Sweden’s PM in 2014. However, a tight result in the 2018 elections meant that neither one of the main parliamentary blocs managed to win a majority. His party won 40.6% of the vote, and the center-right party attained 40.2%, according to Russia Today.
