Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar – the Balochistan Awami Party Senator – has been selected as caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan through a mutual decision of PM Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader Raja Riaz.

According to the details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of Opposition Raja Riaz has been agreed upon the name of BAP Senator Anwaar-ul-Haq as the Caretaker Prime Minister. President Dr. Arif Alvi signed the summary of his appointment as Caretaker Prime Minister.

After his appointment as caretaker Prime Minister, most people are searching that who is Anwaar-ul-Haq. After brief research, we found out that Anwaar-ul-Haq is one of the founding members of the Balochistan Awami Party. He got his primary education from Saint Francis High School, Quetta, and he enrolled in Cadet College, Kohat, after his father’s death, he came back to Quetta.

The BAP Senator did his Master’s in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Balochistan and started his career by teaching in his native school. He contested the National Assembly election from Quetta on the Q-League ticket in 2008, in which he did not get success and he was the spokesperson of the Balochistan government in 2013. He was appointed as the central spokesperson of BAP in 2018 and was elected senator from Balochistan. He was also the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee of Overseas Pakistanis.

It is pertinent to mention here that Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar will be the eighth Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan.
