The Federal Minister for Interior, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the authorities are closing in on a suspect involved in the attack on journalist Asad Ali Toor. He was confident the authorities will uncover the truth soon.
According to details, the Interior Minister has made these remarks while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday. He said that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is equipping the cyber wing with modern gadgets.

On the occasion, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) and police are investigating journalist Asad Ali Toor incident and facts will be brought forth after due investigation.
The Interior Minister further stated that some people are targeting our agencies at the behest of their foreign masters.
“The baseless allegations and smear campaign against the intelligence agencies are damaging the country’s image,” he added.
