The skipper and batter of the Pakistan Cricket Team, Babar Azam completed 10 centuries in T20 cricket as he scored a century in Lanka Premier League today (Monday, August 7) and marked another milestone in his career.

According to the details, Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam displayed exceptional skill and talent during the Lanka Premier League. Representing the Colombo Strikers, he achieved a remarkable century against the formidable Galle Titans.

This century marks the 10th milestone in the illustrious T20 career of Babar Azam, solidifying his position as one of the most formidable batsmen in the game. Notably, Azam formed a commanding 111-run partnership alongside Nissanka for the first wicket. The fans of Babar Azam are celebrating his 10 centuries in the T20 Cricket on social media.

Babar Azam’s brilliant innings comprised 104 runs off just 59 deliveries, including 5 sixes and 8 fours. It is noteworthy that Babar has become the first Asian player and the second in the world to achieve the remarkable feat of scoring 10 T20 centuries, with only Chris Gayle ahead of him having scored 22 centuries. His extraordinary achievement further cements his status as one of the cricketing greats.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan also decided yesterday to send its Cricket Team to India for participation in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and said that Pakistan believes the state of bilateral relations with India should not stand in the way of fulfilling its international sports-related obligations. On the other hand, the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf has said that Babar Azam will be the captain while Mickey Arthur will be the director in the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023. He said that the coaching staff will also be retained. He expressed his desire to play Pakistan India Jinnah Gandhi series on Ashes style.
