Hajj 2024 Applications: Applications for next year’s Hajj under the government scheme are being received by the designated banks from today (Monday, November 27).
According the media reports, this has been announced by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in a statement. The spokesperson stated that this process will continue till the 12th of next month.

The statement further stated that the applications for the Hajj 2024 can be submitted on a passport valid till 16 December 2024. Hajj application can also be processed on a passport application token. About 89605 Pakistanis will perform Hajj under the government scheme. Balloting will be conducted if more than the prescribed number of applications are received.
It is pertinent to mention here that for the first time, women will have the opportunity to undertake the sacred journey without the traditional requirement of a male companion. Under the sponsorship scheme, twenty-five thousand seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
