National Assembly pays tribute to martyrs of Bajaur Bomb Blast

The National Assembly of Pakistan resumed its session at the Parliament House in Islamabad today (Monday, July 31st) evening with Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in the chair and paid tribute to the martyrs of the Bajaur bomb blast.

According to the media reports, the National Assembly offered fateha for the departed souls of various people, including those martyred in the Bajaur Bomb Blast yesterday. Maulana Muhammad Anwar led the Fateha.

During the parliament session, the chair also expressed deep grief and sorrow with the JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and JUI-F’s parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Maulana Asad Mehmood over the loss of precious lives of their workers in the Bajaur blast.

Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf also urged the incumbent government to take necessary steps to bring the culprits involved in this incident to the book. The lawmakers also called for exposing the elements behind the incidents of terrorism, taking place in Pakistan.
