President Alvi calls upon ECO member countries to improve bilateral relations

The President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi has said that the countries of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) should further improve their relations through trade, tourism and economic linkages.

According to media reports, Dr Arif Alvi has expressed his views while addressing the inaugural session of the General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of ECO in Islamabad on Tuesday.

On the occasion, the President has called upon the member countries of Economic Cooperation Organization to develop a firm partnership to address the issues faced by them.

The Pakistani President pointed out that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is an excellent example of cooperation which will link the Central Asian States with the seas.
