Rahmanullah Gurbaz – the opener batter of the Afghanistan Cricket Team – scored 151 runs against Pakistan in the second one-day international in Sri Lanka.

According to the details, the second ODI between Afghanistan and Pakistan is underway in Sri Lanka. Afghan batters have started good innings and the openers scored 227 runs partnership. Both the openers didn’t give a chance to Pakistani attack bowlers of any dismissals.

The batter of the Afghanistan Cricket Team, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 151 runs for the first time in his ODI career. Before this, his best score was 145 against Bangladesh. Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed him in the 45th over of the match. The batter received appraisal from his team as well as from the Pakistani players for his extraordinary performance.

Earlier, Afghanistan won the toss in the second ODI match and decided to bat first against Pakistan in Sri Lanka today (Thursday, August 24). The Captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team, Babar Azam said after the toss that the wicket is looking good for batting and they will try to bat best in the match. He said that there had been no change in the team in this match.

Speaking on the occasion, the captain of the Afghan team said that they will try to make a comeback, they will enter the field with the target of 260 runs in mind. Heshmatullah Shahidi is leading the Afghan side in the 2nd ODI.

The Squad of the Pakistan Cricket Team includes Imamul Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Agha Salman, Shadab Khan, Usama Mir, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the first one-day international match on August 22, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 142 runs by showing disastrous bowling. Haris Rauf was named Man of the Match for his devastating bowling performance.
