SCO summit participants agree not to leave Afghanistan alone: Info Minister

The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry has said that the participants of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit have agreed not to leave Afghanistan alone at this critical juncture.

According to media reports, the Information Minister has made these remarks while talking to media persons in Dushanbe on Friday.

On the occasion, Fawad Chaudhry has said that all the participant countries have expressed the resolve to work together for bringing stability in Afghanistan. He said we have to work with Afghanistan as well as to move forward for establishing a broad-based government in the war-ravaged country.

The Information Minister further stated that PM Imran Khan apprised the SCO summit participants that unstable Afghanistan would have negative impacts on the entire region.
