The terrorists inside the Bannu CTD compound have been killed.
According to the media reports, the official sources said that a search and sweeping operation is currently being conducted against terrorists in the Bannu CTD compound.
The official further stated that a few security personnel were also injured during the operation, one was martyred.
Even now, smoke is seen rising from the compound, security is on high alert across the city, police force is deployed on the roads leading to the area.

According to the order of Deputy Commissioner Bannu, all schools in the district are closed, an emergency is in force in Bannu hospitals, and mobile phone service is suspended.
It is to be mentioned here that the CDT compound in Bannu was taken hostage by the terrorists on Sunday. Security forces conducted an operation to free the terrorists, during which gunshots were heard.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that around 33 terrorists of different groups were imprisoned in Bannu.
