The Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said time warrants that the Afghan people are not abandoned.

According to media reports, the Foreign Minister has expressed his views while talking his New Zealand counterpart Nanaia Mahuta via video link on Wednesday.

On the occasion, the Foreign Minister has urged the world to take concrete steps on war footing to extend economic and humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.

During the video link meeting, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has briefed Foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta about the blatant human rights violations being carried by Indian occupation forces in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said Pakistan has recently presented a dossier to the world about the Indian war crimes in the occupied territory.

FM Qureshi has also raised the matter of cancellation of Pakistan tour by New Zealand cricket team.

News Zealand’s Foreign Minister was appreciative of Pakistan’s efforts for safe evacuation of foreign nationals from Kabul.
