Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to take effective measures against corruption and smuggling and across the country.
According to the media reports, the Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi expressed his views while chairing a meeting at the FIA headquarters in Islamabad today (Wednesday, March 13). He stressed the Federal Investigation Agency to take effective measures to check corruption, and smuggling and play its role in eliminating the menace of spurious drugs and electricity theft.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that human smuggling is another high-priority area, which needs the agency’s attention to prevent this scourge. He also sought a report of the action taken regarding the Greece boat incident.
The Interior Minister also directed to evolution of a comprehensive plan to prevent the smuggling of dollars from the country. He said departing from the country on fake documents should also be stopped.
